As the Policy Director, Louisa leads Vote Mama Foundation’s Policy and Research team, researching and developing policy solutions to break down the barriers that keep parents out of office and out of power. She spearheads Vote Mama Foundation’s work to advance campaign finance reform nationwide, allowing parents to use campaign funds for childcare and security expenses as a means to boost women’s political participation at all levels of government. In conjunction, Louisa oversees the organization’s work to make state legislatures family-friendly environments so all parents can serve sustainably. Louisa received her B.A. in Politics from Brandeis University and a Master of Public Policy from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management with a concentration in Economic and Racial Equity.
